Frequently asked questions

Will the treatment hurt?

No, your treatment should not hurt. Your therapist will tailor the pressure and movements to meet your unique needs and preferences. You can provide feedback during the massage, or your therapist will pay careful attention to your feedback signals and adapt the techniques appropriately. You may ache over the following few days however, please see aftercare in the about you page.

Do I have to undress?

The therapist wants you to relax as much as possible. They will therefore adapt the approach to suit your personal needs and comfort. Please discuss any concerns you may have with our friendly therapists who are always happy to help.

Can my partner/friend/carer/parent be present?

Massage is usually a one to one experience, however there are some circumstances where it may be appropriate for another party to be present during treatment. Please discuss your personal circumstances with our friendly therapists, who can advise you about this prior to your appointment.

We take the safety of our therapists seriously and take precautions to protect them from high risk situations, including address verification and call in checks. Usually the therapist will be accompanied to the appointment, although please don't worry, you are unlikely to meet the chaperone and they will not be present during your appointment.

Can I share my appointment with my friend/partner?

Unless you have booked a pamper party then no. Each session is tailored for one person in order that the therapist can take the time to focus on the needs of that individual.

Can the therapist provide additional services?

Our therapists are qualified massage therapists, we do not offer any services which are not specifically connected to massage therapy.

Isn't massage just a luxury?

This question is very subjective and only you can determine your truth. Some people consider it as a luxury, whilst others consider it to be an essential part of their self-care and grounding regime. If you have never received a massage before, you may not yet know your truth. We offer discounts for first time clients, why not give it a try?

My house is too small, can we do it elsewhere?

Our therapists are mobile and do not give out their personal addresses. It may be possible for you to receive your treatment at a friend or family member's house. Please discuss this with one of our therapists.
